The tread pattern firmly grips the road surface, even on ice- and snow- covered roads. The tire is pinned for studs and #15 studs can be added to increase the ice and snow gripping capability. The tread’s wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint.
