The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction and road gripping ability thanks to the silica-based tire compound and the asymmetric tread patterns open slotted shoulders. They work together to provide excellent dry, wet and winter weather traction. The circumferential and lateral grooves actively disperse water and slush from below the tire footprint which further boosts the year round driving safety and the models hydroplaning resistance. The silica compound, along with the wider tread profile, also offers excellent controllability in all weather. They boost the steering responsiveness and the driving stability by maintaining road contact and increasing the road contact area. The better road grip and larger contact patch ensure a stable and easily controlled tire as it is fortified against the driving pressure affecting it and is quick and precise in its response to the drivers instructions.
