The tire offers exceptional summer weather traction. The tire grips the road well in dry and wet surfaces and provides a safe driving experience in those conditions. However, the tire is not recommended for use in colder winter weather temperatures. This great dry and wet weather traction is the result of the Silicarbon Matrix tire compound used in its manufacture, which is a combination of carbon block and silica.
