Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02 is an all-season touring tire which is a dovetail of innovation and technology. The unique rounder tire design includes a symmetric tread with circumferential grooves that offers a noise-free ride, improves balance and controls tire-wear. The Turanza EL400-02 RFT is Bridgestone’s Standard Touring All-Season self-supporting run-flat tire developed as Original Equipment (O.E.) for Lexus IS250C and IS350C models, as well as all-wheel drive Toyota Sienna* minivans as of the 2011 model year. The Turanza EL400-02 RFT is designed to combine temporary extended mobility (for a distance of at least 50 miles at up to 50 mph even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss) with dry, wet and wintertime traction, even in light snow. Turanza EL400-02 RFT tires feature an all-season rubber compound molded into a symmetric tread design with straight circumferential grooves to balance dry and wet road traction with noise comfort and hydroplaning resistance. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to blend high-speed durability with uniform ride quality. The structure of the Turanza EL400-02 RFT features Bridgestone Side Support Run-Flat technology-reinforced sidewalls specifically tuned to support the vehicle in the case a puncture causes complete loss of air pressure. Engineered with 5-degree noise reduction which produces noise-canceling sound waves. Controls external noise adding to a comfortable and quiet ride. It provides a perfect grip and hydroplaning resistance during wet and dry conditions. Silica compound uses L.L Carbon as a bonding agent to improve the strength of rubber, and tread wear. Symmetric design based on the UNI-T technology for better tire case, design, and manufacturing process. I nterior includes two steel belts and a polyester cord body that adds strength and durability, improves stability at higher speeds, and enhances the comfort of the rider.
